Nashville Greenways, Parks & Trails
Why We Love It
The rolling hills of Nashville make it ideal for hiking and biking as well. Within 15 miles of Downtown Nashville, you’ll find Radnor Lake State Park, Shelby Bottoms Nature Center & Greenway and Percy Warner Park which are amongst our favorites in the city. In total, Nashville boasts 200+ miles of trails and greenways and 15,800+ acres of open space.

Natchez Trace Trails
Why We Love It
The Natchez Trace Trail is a 444 mile parkway that spans 3 states, including Tennessee. We are fortunate that it runs right through middle Tennessee. You can either take a leisurely drive along here and see the famed Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge for a photo opp or find one of the many hiking trails.

Local Tip
While a drive is certainly “enough” to see the beauty of the Natchez Trace Trail, if you have time stop for hiking, scenic overlooks, waterfalls, biking, and civil war points. There is a local man, Randy who runs a great site called Natchez Trace Travel and he has amazing tips on all the trails and sights for leisure or adventure seekers.

Pedego Electric Bike Rentals - Explore on Your Own
Nashville Location: 416 Woodland Street Nashville, TN 37206 Franklin Location: 248 2nd Ave S, Franklin, TN 37064
Why We Love It
We love exploring new (and even familiar places) by bike. When we got to Nashville from Florida, though let’s just say we weren’t used to the hills. 🙂 Electric bikes make it a bit easier to tackle our rolling hills through Middle Tennessee. Pedego offers quality rentals and great service. They also have locations in Nashville and Franklin which are both fun places to check out on a bike. They even offer kid- friendly options and the option to explore on your own or take a guided tour.
Local Tip
Book well in advance and be sure you’re booking your rental from the correct location. 🙂

Love Circle
Location
Why We Love It
If you want to see one of (if not) the best view of the city skyline, head up to Love Circle. The background views make for a great photo opp and many people even opt to bring a little picnic to enjoy. We’ve had couples stay with us who have even gotten engaged right here with the Nashville skyline twinkling in the background.
Local Tip
This is the peak of a hill in the middle of a neighborhood and the hill itslef isn’t all that fancy but it’s a quick, easy drive in and up – the view is worth it!

Noble Springs Goat & Dairy Farm
Location
Why We Love It
Cuddle with baby goats? Yes, please! We adore this farm and their precious goats. We’ve followed this family (not in a creepy way) since we discovered their cheeses at the farmer’s market and it has been great to see them grow and would highly suggest a visit, especially if you’re coming with the whole family.
Local Tip
You must reserve your spot in advance – don’t just show up. 🙂 Also, watch their schedule for various events above and beyond their standard tours! We’ve attended events like their Wine & Cheese + Baby Goats events and Guitars and Goats. They’re always a fun time.
