The Full Moon Pickin Party is a monthly musical shin-dig at Warner Park Equestrian Center that features local pickers playing music under… (you guessed it) a full moon. This outdoor gathering is open to the public and if you get your ticket ahead of time it will only cost you $20 to attend. Did we mention you get 4 beers included with your ticket? This event always happens on the Friday closest to a full moon in the months of May through October. This month’s pickin date just so happens to fall on Friday, September 13th… so grab your boots and your superstitions before you head to this epic summer jam!
Bringing the kids on this trip to Music City? September 12-15th Disney On Ice: Worlds of Enchantment will be making an appearance at Bridgestone Arena and it’s sure to entertain people of all ages, this means you will probably enjoy the show as much as your children will!
The Nashville music scene is one that’s hard to top, but this month ‘The Pilgrimage Music Festival’ is giving it a run for its money. This music extravaganza is taking place in Franklin, TN (about 25 minutes south of Nashville) and we encourage you to venture out of the city for this amazing collection of talent on one stage! Set your calendars for September 21st & 22nd, because there is an electric lineup ranging from The Foo Fighters to Keith Urban as well as the soulful vibes of Leon Bridges. You are more than likely to find a few names that you’ve been dying to hear live, and what better way than with a bunch of friends, in a field surrounded by food trucks!?
The Nashville Flea Market is held every fourth weekend of each month and is one of the biggest non-music attractions our city has to offer. Spreading across the Nashville Fairgrounds, there are a variety of different booths and tents. You can find anything from vintage vinyls to handmade crafts, hair products to new succulents to add to your collection. Many people go with no intentions of buying anything, but It’s hard to walk away without finding something that you “can’t live without” at the Nashville Flea Market.
