Important Information for Traveling with your Dog(s) to Leiper’s Fork

Leiper’s Fork and the broader Franklin, TN area is considered an incredibly dog friendly area. In addition to the many dog-friendly parks, there are a variety of shops, restaurants and activities that welcome your fur babies. There are, however some things to be aware of when traveling to Leiper’s Fork with Fido. 

Leash Law: 

There is a leash law in Williamson County which states that your dog must be on a leash when not fenced in on the property or at a leash free dog park. The exception to this is if your dog is engaged in legal hunting or herding. View the full laws here. 

Emergency Vet Information: 

While we certainly hope you do not need it but in the event that you do, we suggest: 

• Blue Pearl Pet Hospital on Mallory Lane in Franklin. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is about a 30 minute drive from Leiper’s Fork. This is where we recommend for minor emergencies. 
• Nashville Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency on Sidco Drive in Nashville. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and have the ability to do everything for even specialized cases. This is about a 45 minute drive from Leiper’s Fork. In potential life threatening situations, this is where we would recommend and be sure to call ahead
