Bioluminescence Tour
Location
Why We Love It
Departs from Cocoa Beach Country Club and takes you along the Banana River. Seeing the water light up is fascinating. The tours are wonderful for everyone, adults and kids alike however we wouldn’t recommend it for small children.
Local Tip
There are many tour options however we personally use and recommend Cocoa Beach Kayaking. The longest standing company and a local, family-owned company/ guides. The season is from June to October and the best viewing is when there is a new moon. Make reservations in advance, especially for the new moon. Wear A LOT of insect repellent!

Local Lines Fishing Guide Service (Kayak & Boat Fishing Tours)
Why We Love It
We love Captain Alex and if you’re wanting a guided fishing tour- he’s your guy! He offers tours by either kayak or boat and options within our lagoons, off the Port, near the coast or offshore.
Local Tip
Be sure to check out the monthly availability chart on his website (under booking) as he provides a ranking for when you have the best chance at catching what you’re after. 🙂

Cruise Cocoa Boat Tour
Location
Why We Love It
Cruise Cocoa has 2 locations, the closest to Cocoa Beach is the Lei’d Back boat. It’s a Polynesian tiki inspired vessel and you can BYOB for up to 6 guests! At the Cocoa Beach location they offer dolphin sightseeing tours, sunset tours, bioluminescent tours and private parties. Their tours are all family- friendly! Captain Ritche gave us a code for our guests which is SBS25. Enter it at checkout and it’s good for 25% off the ticket price!
Local Tip
We always suggest booking well in advance! For those traveling with their dogs …. If you book a private tour, you can even bring Fido! (Of course, service dogs are always welcome).

Cocoa Beach Jet Ski Rental
Location
Why We Love It
Some of us aren’t coordinated enough to surf (that’d be me), jet skis (or wave runners) are a fun way to enjoy the waves.
Local Tip
Save time before you rent by taking the temporary boater license class online (it’s fast and easy).

Manatee & Dolphin Kayak Tour
Location
Why We Love It
Because manatees are so cute and how could you say no to hanging out with Flipper, too?
Local Tip
Manatee season is from March to October (they like to head South for the winter, too) so time your trip accordingly.

Surf Lessons
Location
Why We Love It
This is a favorite pastime for us – Richard riding the waves while I watch from the beach. It’s how we spent our summers since high school.
Local Tip
Take the lesson before going it on your own. Though there are spots great for beginners, Cocoa Beach surf is legendary for a reason. 🙂

Indian River Queen Lunch or Dinner Cruise
Location
Why We Love It
Instead of waterfront dining, this is on the water dining! A great way to explore the “other” body of water on the Space Coast, one of our rivers while enjoying relaxing dinner and drinks. Though public cruises are typically only once a month (one dinner option & one lunch option) they also do them for special occasions like launches, holidays, etc.
Local Tip
Since public cruises are limited, reserve seats well in advance.
