Natchez Trace Trail
The Natchez Trace Trail is a 444 mile parkway that spans 3 states, including Tennessee. We are fortunate that it runs right through middle Tennessee. A leisurely drive along here and seeing the famed Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge for a photo opp.

While a drive is certainly “enough” to see the beauty of the Natchez Trace Trail, if you have time stop for hiking, scenic overlooks, waterfalls, biking, and civil war points. There is a local man, Randy who runs a great site called Natchez Trace Travel and he has amazing tips on all the trails and sights for leisure or adventure seekers.

Downtown Franklin, TN
Downtown Franklin is a quaint town with a “small town USA” type of feel. It is home to various history points and you can stroll the beautifully manicured streets for shopping, eating and drinking.
There are multiple festivals held here each year so if you can plan accordingly, try to visit while one is happening!
The Factory at Franklin
This is an old factory turned shops, dining and venue for various concerts and events. There is also a weekly farmer’s market each Saturday that is a fan favorite.
